School Tours and Hayrides

School Groups -

Bring your class to the orchard for a fun experience of apple picking! School and Home school groups are welcome weekday mornings by reservation and weather permitting during September and October. Tours are age-appropriate and include: Facts about apples, the proper method of picking apples, a brief discussion of the orchard during the four seasons, and a Q&A session.

Build Your Own Field Trip

Pick and choose any option(s).  Price is per child.

Hay wagon rides: $2.25   

Pick 1/4 peck apples: $3.00  

Apple cider in a take-home reusable apple/pumpkin cup: $2.00 

Apple cider donut: $.75  

Pick a Pie Pumpkin $1.00 *subject to availability

Stroll through the corn maze and solve the puzzle: $2.00 child / $4.00 adult

You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch; and, there are two picnic areas for your enjoyment. Tours can be adjusted to fit your classroom needs. Parent and teacher chaperones are free. If parents or chaperones wish to pick, they may do so but must pay for what they pick. Teachers are welcome to pick a complimentary bag of apples to utilize for classroom activities. In order to provide the best tour, groups of 60 or more children will need to arrange a separate time frame (hayride option only).   

**Payment must be made on the day of the field trip.

*Please dress your child appropriately for the weather. In the morning the grass is often wet from the dew so boots are highly recommended.

We also enjoy connecting with local groups (Scouts, 4-H, Nursing Homes, Senior Centers, Church groups, etc..) which are welcome with a reservation.  Prices are listed above. 

**Weekend trip tips:   Group leaders:  Please have the entire payment collected upfront.
